Larry Dushkes is the principal of Dushkes Law Corporation and is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Dushkes graduated in from Stanford University with an A.B. in Economics, which he attended on a National Merit scholarship, and received his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law in 1982, graduating in the top 20% of his class.
Mr. Dushkes specializes in estate planning, probate and will/trust contests, and also practices in the area of business planning and litigation, and state and local tax controversies, with four published appellate decisions and a $1.025 million jury verdict to his credit.
Mr. Dushkes is a past co-chair of the Property Tax Committee of the State Bar of California, served twice as chairman of the State and Local Tax Committee of the Taxation Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, is a past chairman of the Tax Section of the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association, recently completed a term on the Executive Committee of the Trust and Estates Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and has taught as an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University’s Graduate School of Taxation.
Mr. Dushkes is a member of the California State Bar, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Ventura County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in California, as well as the U.S. Tax Court.
